I’m actually not a very prolific artist (as I hope you can tell by when these were created). I “play” a lot and can certainly make things.
You can find my Vimeo videos that I use in my posts here.
A modeling exercise:
A fractal using Sunflow. Fractal king Don Casteel wrote this iterating fractal for Sunflow so I naturally had to see how Suzanne would look.

Face Attempt 1
Though not a final work of mine (this was a practice piece), I was pleased with it and wrote about it in my blog. Blender-9/4/06
Helm
ca. 2003. 3DS Max 6. This was was supposed to be a much more grand scene, but I lost interest and just stuck the helm in a grey box and lit it. I was especially pleased with how the materials came out.
Flying
ca. 2003. 3DS Max 6. This was more an experiment in lighting than anything else. I never did get the shadows the way I liked them, but I let the issue go. The turtle wasn’t textured at all which forced me to use a scanline render since with ray tracing you could see the turtles default mesh colors. This was the last image I did with Max. I switched to Maya shortly after.
Vertebrae
I sat down one day and saw a pencil holder I had that was shaped liked a human vertebrae. I started modeling it and this is the result. Made in XSI.
Gauges
I did these for a project in my old job. The needles were animated too.
